My First Green Product

Today I purchased my very first green product!

I have never been so excited to run out of dish soap before.  I had heard about a green alternative and was just waiting to run out of my old stuff so I could buy it.

So I promptly got in my car and headed to Target to make this exciting purchase.  Once I got there I immediately headed to the soap and detergent section.  I would have normally headed straight to the clothing or home accessories but I was on a mission (and a newly instated budget)!

Once I got to the isle I was looking for I realized that there were actually a lot more green options then I thought there were.  The product I was looking for is made by Seventh Generation and is called Free & Clear Natural Dish Liquid.

I noticed that a lot of companies like Clorox and Palmolive have more environmentally friendly alternatives.  Although these are better for the environment then their classic counterparts they are still not as chemical free as the products that Seventh Generation makes.

So I will start using my new dish soap right away and in a few days I will hopefully have a product review for you.  The reviews at amazon for this product seem to say good things though so I'm optimistic!

Keep checking back to see what I think and let me know if you have used this or other products you like.

A little bit about me

I have recently decided to live a greener life.  This blog will showcase my attempts at being green.  I will share tips, products, stories and even crafts.  I will be the first to admit I'm not that great at this........Yet!  I'm going to have to give some of my comfort items up I'm sure, but it's a small price to pay for making this world a better place for all of us to live.

Please check in daily and feel free to leave any tips, tricks or comments you might have.  I'm sure I'll need all the help I can get!
